congratulations estonia!
We've done it in Slovenia last year - a great way to involve general public into environmental themes... and, since more than 10 % of the population has participated I really hope there will be long term effects as well and we will finally become more responsable when treating the nature...
Slovenia  was great! I think it was 270 000 people and its 13% of yur population?
Great!!
I'm sure it's positve to do it in all countries. After all - you (we)'ve done it in several countries already... Do you have the information in what countries it has already been done?
Yes, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Ukraine, India has done it. In Brazil, Macedonia, Finland, Moldova, Serbia, Cambodia and many more countries will have their country-wide cleanup days.
wow this is inspirational! It myst have taken a lot of organisation and volunteers to manage the volunteers - how many organisers did you need to get this to work?
We had 20 people in main team, but finally we had apprx 200 people organizing this event. You know, it wasnt hard to find people, they came themselves, because the idea was so simple and people wanted to contribute.
Btw, internet and e-solutions make our works much easier- registration, trash mapping, logistics- everything was made with help of internet. We were lucky to have Ahti Heinla, Skype architect, in our team. He wrote many programs. And now he is writing the global trash map where everybody can add trashpoints.

Well done!

I'm always shocked about the amount of rubbish generated across Europe and I think this shows a good example on how to tackle such issues.

Hi people!

I am really happy to be here. I am glad to answer to your questions regarding Lets Do It project, but first I ask from You- do you believe it could be done in your home country, do you believe it could be done in the world. Can we clean up all planet from trash?
