Here are some easy to follow instructions to help you made the most of the

eConference on 3rd March.

 

Before the eConference

 

Profile picture

Adding a picture of yourself to your profile encourages other people to talk to
you. To add your picture, click on the “My Page” link to see your profile.

Your picture and the link to change it is on the left hand side of the page.

 

Your profile information:

 

As well as adding a picture of yourself, why not write a bit of information
about your organisation and your work. Click on the “My Page” link.

In the “Profile Information” box, click on the “Edit” button and add your
information.

 

Join the eConference and Marketplace groups

In order to take part in the eConference and post your opportunities to the
Marketplace you will need to join the groups.

Just go to the “eConference” and “Marketplace” groups and click on the
“Join eConference” and “Join Marketplace” buttons.

 

The Marketplace

If you are looking for European partners for your project then you can post
them in the “Marketplace”.

Join the group and then click on the relevant discussion heading.

To add to the discussion just type in the box marked “Reply to This” and then
click on the green “Add Reply” button.

Turn off the Group notifications

When you join a group you will automatically be notified when someone
joins the group or posts a new piece of information.

To turn off these notifications go the main group page and on the right hand
side, click on the link “Stop Following New Members”.

 

 

If you post a reply to a discussion you will automatically be notified every
time someone else posts a reply.

To turn this off, scroll to the bottom of the discussion and click on “Stop
Following – Don’t email me when people reply”.

 

Check that you can watch the videos on your computer

Each of the discussions is started with a video. Why not take a look at one of
the previous videos to check they are permitted on your computer.

During the eConference

 

Find out what’s happening

On the eConference homepage will be a live commentary of what’s
happening on the day. Make sure you take a look throughout the day.

 

Finding the discussions

All of the case studies will be taking place in threads in the “Discussion
Forum”.

To see the full list of discussions, scroll to the bottom of the Group page and
click on the “View All” link.

 

Commenting on a discussion

If you find a discussion that you want to take part in then click on the main
link and then write in the box “Reply to This”, then click on the green “Add
Reply” button.

 

Seeing new posts in the discussion

If you don’t see any replies to a discussion then press the “F5” key to refresh
the page.

 

After the eConference

 

Online evaluation form

 

Please take a couple of minutes to fill out the short online evaluation form
when you leave the eConference.

The link to the online evaluation will be posted on the day.
